Until the submission, Steuerbot is completely free for you. So you can enter your tax return without any risk and then decide for yourself, based on the calculated refund, whether the tax return is worth it for you.
You only pay if your refund is more than €50 or if you are obliged to file a tax return. The cost of filing a tax return is €39.99.

What happens to your tax return data after ELSTER submission? We are legally obliged to keep the data of the submitted tax returns for at least 5 years.
